Partnership During Tough Times
As I write this article the US financial system is undergoing turbulent times. The US stock market lost $1 trillion dollars in market value in one trading day. Economists are foreseeing the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression of the 1930's; a total systemic meltdown due to the US banking and home mortgage crises. Stock markets across the world react erratically fearing a broader global financial crisis.
Isn't it comforting to know that you are unlike anybody else? I mean, I don't know about you, but I like the fact that God decided to create each one of us "in His own image," and yet we are still uniquely different in so many ways.
Take for example, spiritual gifts. In 1 Corinthians 12 vs. 4-5, the Bible says, "There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord."
